Sir Henry Fermor Church of England Primary School is a 'GOOD' school, as rated by Ofsted in April 2024. Our broad, knowledge-rich and well sequenced curriculum develops from when the children first start school in Reception. Our ethos at Sir Henry Fermor is that no child is left behind, and in response to their own starting point, every child is inspired to always give their best and believe in all they do.

"Excellent School Experience"

We have been part of the Sir Henry Fermor community for 6 years and have had a truly outstanding experience. The school's focus on faith, friendship and hard work has been evident in the way our child has grown and developed. The facilities are excellent and the staff are caring and supportive. We will always be grateful for the time our child spent at this school.

"Lovely School with a Great Team"

We have been really impressed with the Sir Henry Fermor team and the school's values. Our child is happy and thriving, and we've been grateful for the support and guidance from the teachers. The school's focus on forest school and outdoor learning is also a great way to encourage children to explore and learn. We feel very lucky to be part of the community here.

"Good School with Some Limitations"

We moved to the area a few years ago and our child started at Sir Henry Fermor. The school has a great ethos and the children are well-behaved and respectful. However, we felt that the school could have done more to support our child's individual needs. The facilities are good, but not outstanding. Overall, it was a good experience, but we would have liked a bit more from the school.
