She seems to be more concerned with being 'friends' with everyone, to the detriment of things being managed strongly and properly. Many of the junior staff are more concerned with being 'friends' with all the students, with the result that the precocious, rude and intimidating pupils hold a large amount of influence over the conduct of the classes and the culture of the school. Their fees have increased a… *(Feb 2025)* - **5/5** — Very Good School: The school is excellent. They are making considerable efforts to impress new parents; however, our children need access to better classrooms, particularly in the older buildings, as some are quite outdated. The new teachers who joined this year are a breath of fresh air. The new Headmistress is highly effective and very supportive. My children feel very well supported! *(May 2024)* - **1/5** — Not worth it: Sir William Perkins's School is not worth paying the yearly school fees. My child spent a very short time of her school life at the school before we decided to take her out. Many things that were of concern were brought to our attention very early: 1. The conduct of some the teachers towards the girls are unacceptable and complaints are ignored. 2. The school fails to follow their own digital learning policy - the girls are on snapchat, youtube, tiktok and other social media platforms throughout… *(Jul 2023)* - **4/5** — slay!: it’s a very good school slay *(Sep 2022)* - **5/5** — Excellent School!: I am so impressed with the facilities at Sir William Stanier School, particularly the rooftop allotment! Our daughter loves learning about food education and has benefited greatly from the programs in place. The values of opportunity, community, and courage are truly at the heart of the school. We feel very lucky to be a part of the SWS community! *(Sep 2022)* - **5/5** — Wonderful School!: We are thrilled with the support and care our son has received at Sir William Stanier School. The school's commitment to providing a broad and inclusive curriculum is fantastic, and we appreciate the opportunities for him to engage in activities outside of the classroom. The allotment is a fantastic addition and we're looking forward to getting involved in the school community! *(Mar 2022)* - **4/5** — Some Positives, Some Negatives: We have been pleased with the quality of teaching at Sir William Stanier School, but we've experienced some issues with communication from the school. The rooftop allotment is a great idea, but we wish there were more opportunities for parental involvement in the school community. Overall, it's a good school, but there's room for improvement. *(Dec 2021)* - **5/5** — A Great Learning Environment: We have two children who attended Sir William Stanier School and we couldn't be happier with their experience. The curriculum is well-rounded and the teachers are supportive and enthusiastic. We particularly appreciate the emphasis on pastoral care and the opportunities for extracurricular activities. Our children have grown into confident and capable individuals thanks to the school. *(Jun 2021)* - **3/5** — Swps: It’s alright - but I did not enjoy the last 5 years but some people loved it so down to preference *(Sep 2020)* ## Other schools in Crewe - [The Berkeley Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/crewe/the-berkeley-academy-16866) — 4.7/5 (4 reviews) - [Betley CofE VC Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/crewe/betley-cofe-vc-primary-school-9702) — 4.7/5 (4 reviews) - [Shavington Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/crewe/shavington-primary-school-17056) — 4.6/5 (4 reviews) - [Woore Primary and Nursery School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/crewe/woore-primary-and-nursery-school-24151) — 4.5/5 (4 reviews) - [Holmes Chapel Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/crewe/holmes-chapel-primary-school-15104) — 4.5/5 (4 reviews) - [Madeley High School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/crewe/madeley-high-school-15168) — 4.2/5 (4 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
