Brilliant staff and excellent students. Been there myself *(Dec 2024)* - **2/5** — No recommended: It’s a shame a lot of teachers ruin that school, Ofsted is needed, not has one since 2011. Some nasty vindictive teachers there. Beware. *(Aug 2023)* - **1/5** — Worn out: Endless stress and mind games has led to my daughter who is a Mother of children at the school, almost have a nervous breakdown. I agree that an Ofsted inspection is needed. *(Aug 2023)* - **3/5** — Going downhill fast: There are many teachers that are great at their job who are honest and communicate well with parents. There are certain teachers that think themselves God at this school. Those teachers cause countless problems for children and parents by twisting the truth. The last 4 years the Headteacher has been on a power trip leading to disconnection of parents. Less and less people want to become involved with school because of how they are treated by those at the top. *(Jul 2023)* - **1/5** — Parents rights/ Vote for headteachers democratically: Some of the staff are so wicked and vindictive they will do anything to abuse their powers and subject Mothers, Fathers and children to endless stress. They’re so wrong, lots of staff have left, parents have moved their kids and many are in fear of repercussions. They are so hypocritical, condescending and vindictive. It would be interesting to see what Ofsted have to say. *(Jul 2023)* - **3/5** — Change needed: The Headteacher is notorious for power and control Manipulating teaching employees and parents alike to secure and maintain complete dominance under her dictatorship It is unfortunate this clouds the positives of some teaching employees who want to do their best for pupils There are some teaching employees who refuse to be tainted by the Headmistress they find themselves bullied out silenced and given roles that do not play to their strengths this is unfair and causes ripples down to the pupils *(Jul 2023)* - **1/5** — Cruel: Awful experience with the head who bullies staff, kids and parents. Evil. *(May 2023)* - **3/5** — A Good Start, but Room for Improvement: We have a child starting EYFS at St Gregory's and have been pleased with the welcome that we have received. The school's facilities are modern and well-equipped, and the staff seem friendly and enthusiastic. However, we have noticed that some of the communication from the school has been a bit patchy, and we hope that this will improve as our child progresses through the school. *(Nov 2022)* - **5/5** — An Outstanding School Experience: Our child has had an outstanding experience at St Gregory's and we are so grateful for the opportunities that the school has provided. The school's commitment to academic excellence, combined with its strong focus on spiritual and moral development, has helped our child to grow into a confident and compassionate young person. We would highly recommend the school to any family in the area. *(Sep 2022)* - **5/5** — Excellent School for our Children: We have been thoroughly impressed with the Catholic School of St Gregory the Great. The facilities are excellent and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our child has settled in really well and is making great progress academically and socially. We love the school's values of 'every person matters, every person helps, every person succeeds' and feel that they are really living these out in our child's life. *(Feb 2022)* ## Other schools in Cheltenham - [Ashley Manor Preparatory School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cheltenham/ashley-manor-preparatory-school-11219) — 1.7/5 (23 reviews) - [Pate's Grammar School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cheltenham/pates-grammar-school-12101) — 3.4/5 (18 reviews) - [Balcarras School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cheltenham/balcarras-school-12190) — 2.1/5 (11 reviews) - [Cheltenham Bournside School and Sixth Form Centre](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cheltenham/cheltenham-bournside-school-and-sixth-form-centre-12392) — 1.5/5 (11 reviews) - [All Saints' Academy, Cheltenham](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cheltenham/all-saints-academy-cheltenham-11893) — 1.8/5 (9 reviews) - [Pittville School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cheltenham/pittville-school-6198) — 2.1/5 (6 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
