IMAGINE BEING ASIAN AND ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL AND THEN YOU END UP BEING CALLED RACIST WORDS, STEREOTYPES AND SLURS BY A BUNCH OF WHITE KIDS. AND IT EVEN GETS WORSE WHEN WHITE KIDS LITERALLY… *(Sep 2025)* - **1/5** — Think Twice About Hylands ..: Sending your child to Hylands School may not be the best decision due to ongoing issues that remain unaddressed by the administration. Reports from parents and students suggest that racism is not taken seriously, with incidents often being ignored or inadequately handled. Bullying is another significant concern, as it appears to be brushed aside rather than properly investigated and resolved. These problems create an unsafe and unsupportive environment for students, which can severely impact the… *(Jul 2025)* - **1/5** — Warning to parents: For any parent that has a child that is nurodiverse or any kind of behavioural problems please DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL they will be treated as a naughty unteachable and unruly they will be suspended excluded and isolated which will impact their mental health more than any of those teachers will ever know. *(Jun 2025)* - **1/5** — Bad school: I am not getting enough education in lessons every one always bullied me *(Jan 2025)* - **2/5** — Improving, but still bad.: I never got physically bullied but I was constantly bullied by nearly everyone in the school. I had my stuff stolen, my projects broken (we rarely did projects anyways) and etc. It was worst in year 7 but every time I report it nothing ever happens? It’s been about 3 years later now and my bullies still have had no punishments. The school cares more about a tie/blazer (when it’s pouring down and blazers don’t have a hood) than they do about racism and homophobia. The kids there always call peopl… *(Nov 2023)* - **1/5** — DONT COME TO HYLANDS SCHOOL !!: strictly DO NOT send your child to hylands school. this school claims that they are multi-cultural when they aren’t because the school literally has MANY white people and majority are racist. also the school claims that they don’t tolerate bullying and racism but they DEFINITELY do as those things have been happening for years. racism is VERY VERY normalized in hylands school. when somebody is being called a racial slur and they try defending themselves the teachers will get angry at the person … *(Oct 2023)* - **1/5** — HYLANDS SCHOOL IS A BAD SCHOOL.: okay so first of all, let me just start with the RACISM that goes on in that school. okay so when kids are racist to others nothing gets done. when you tell a teacher about it they act as if they are gonna do something but they just brush it off. racism in HYLANDS SCHOOL is very VERY normalized. kids literally go around saying racial slurs such as the p word and the n word and etc. and nothing gets done EVER. sometimes the kids say to people that they should go back to their country. and also so… *(Oct 2023)* - **1/5** — Bullying: Awful kids in year 9 especially the girls proper bullies dont send your kids here nothing gets dealt with *(Jun 2023)* - **1/5** — Horrible: As a student there I got bullied in year 7 and had several of my books, belongings, even my wood tech project stolen or broken. When I told someone about it the students involved got a 30 minute detention each and nothing else happened. The teachers either don’t care or are horrible for no reason and by teachers I mean that half of them are substitutes. I literally learned so much more just using Seneca for a hour than a whole week of science. Oh and the school cares more about whether or not we… *(May 2023)* - **1/5** — Please. Im begging you.: Dont sent your kids here.
