## Recent parent reviews

- **4/5** — Room for improvement: We moved to the area last year and decided on Glan-Yr-Afon Primary for our daughter. While the teachers are generally good, we've found that the school can get a bit overcrowded, and the playground can be chaotic at times. That being said, the head teacher, Mrs. Smith, is lovely and always willing to listen to concerns. *(Jan 2026)*
- **4/5** — Excellent all rounder!: My son has been at Glan-Yr-Afon Primary for four years now, and I couldn't be happier with his progress. The teachers, particularly Mrs. Jenkins and Mr. Thomas, are always approachable and make learning a pleasure. The school's facilities, including the new sports hall, are also fantastic. *(Jul 2025)*
