The boys are brutal -years 7-10 are the worst years 8 snd 9 are insufferable. Strange ethos that school. They mess with your brain and you learn to enjoy the bullying and normalise it so he didn’t want to leave as this would appear weak. We re in therapy for 2 years now. It’s a toxic place. Staff can be good but the toxic masculinity runs from the top. Lots of micro aggression and subtle banter bullying that mentally affects the boys. The school pushes terribly. If you’re not a jock or a nerd or a Chopin you will struggle. School is stuck in the past snd it produces sadly a majority of emotionally constipated snd socially awkward terms. Women are either feared or ridiculed. Almost all of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable in their respective fields and free thinking and debate is highly encouraged.
