My child has been subjected to bullying from Year 8 all the way through to Year 11. Rather than supporting them, the school routinely isolates my child, while the bullies are left free to roam and continue their behaviour. As a result, it's the victim who misses out on their education – not the perpetrators. One especially disturbing incident involved students making cruel remarks about… *(Mar 2025)* - **5/5** — Excellent School Experience: We are thoroughly impressed with the facilities and values of Netherhall School. Our child has thrived in the inclusive and inspiring environment, making great friends and achieving academic success. The staff are supportive and encouraging, and we love the way they cater to individual needs. *(Sep 2023)* - **1/5** — Completely Inappropriate: On their trip to Paris, teachers shouted at children who did not belong to their school and later were extremely verbally abusive to teachers of the other school, even causing one to cry. Extremely disrespectful, inappropriate and rude. *(Jul 2023)* - **1/5** — netherhall no no: i have been bullied since year 7 and teachers have never done anything about it all they say is “it will pass” if a students is really really upset you will still get forced to go to lesson by pastoral they don’t care about the students they care about there money. a teacher has said to my face when i’ve tried to talk about it “i ain’t dealing with it” *(Apr 2023)* - **5/5** — Netherhall Exceeds Expectations: Our child has been at Netherhall for two years now, and we've seen a remarkable growth in their confidence and academic abilities. The school's commitment to inspiring and inclusive education shines through in everything they do, from the dedicated staff to the excellent facilities and programs. The staff and students are warm and welcoming, and we appreciate the emphasis on building strong relationships and a sense of belonging. Our child loves the Netherhall Experiential Week and the range of extracurricular activities on offer. We're grateful for the excellent education and community spirit. *(Nov 2022)* - **4/5** — Great School but Some Room for Improvement: We have fond memories of our child's time at Netherhall, but we felt that the extracurricular activities could be more varied. The school's focus on individuality and inclusivity is wonderful, and the facilities are top-notch. Overall, we were happy with the education provided, but there's always room for growth. *(May 2022)* - **1/5** — Incompetence of teachers: During my time as a student the teachers were fully incapable of solving issues that the students had to the point where while I was in the pastoral office someone told me that someone was going to jump me. The entire pastoral office didn’t bat an eye or say anything and let me leave the office to later get jumped. *(Apr 2022)* - **2/5** — Serious assault by three students on another: My 12 year old son was attacked by three same year group little thugs during lunch time football play. They slammed his head down hard onto the hard grass pitch. Then they all kicked him several times before leaving to harass other players. My son ended up at A&E with concussion. Other students are afraid of the trio but none of this has been picked up up by school staff because they have been careful not to be caught. School has promised strong punishment but we are not being told what it is. H… *(Apr 2022)* - **1/5** — Incompetent staff and child safety.: The worst experience of my life. Since year 7 to year 11 I was bullied and harassed. The staff did not do anything to prevent bullying or assault in any way shape or form. The pastoral staff, which is supposed to deal with bullying, finance, etc. Doesn’t even understand the laws on self defence. I once tried to show the same staff a video of a student doing something illegal in school but they refused to see it as I “shouldn’t have my phone out in school”. Absolutely nothing about the safety of … *(Jun 2021)* ## Other schools in Cambridge - [Cottenham Village College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/cottenham-village-college-12994) — 1.8/5 (32 reviews) - [Comberton Village College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/comberton-village-college-12181) — 2.5/5 (20 reviews) - [Linton Village College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/linton-village-college-12163) — 1.7/5 (15 reviews) - [Bottisham Village College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/bottisham-village-college-12371) — 1.7/5 (11 reviews) - [Coleridge Community College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/coleridge-community-college-12345) — 2.3/5 (9 reviews) - [Trumpington Community College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/trumpington-community-college-19146) — 1.4/5 (9 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
