Everything else is fine… *(Dec 2025)* - **4/5** — Student: Good school and the food is delicious. But our RPE class once spent 30 minutes on one PowerPoint slide, that was meant to be 2 minutes. But idc. Break time is WAY to short, make it 30 mins pls. There is a load of shouting and detentions given out (not to me though 😇), and yeah it’s great. I learnt some stuff here, so it’s working… I don’t like bacon roles though. *(Dec 2025)* - **3/5** — Literal fire: Shed burnt down and people were evacuated onto the field next to the flaming shed. *(Jan 2025)* - **1/5** — Absolutely appalling: This school is nothing short of a disaster for students. It seems more interested in controlling kids than educating them. The so-called "isolation rooms" are practically prison cells—cold, bare, and completely inhumane. Detention is handed out for the most trivial reasons, like forgetting a pencil or asking a question that challenges their rigid rules. If your child has special needs, and has no medical paper to prove it, expect zero support. The school either ignores them entirely or punishes … *(Dec 2024)* - **1/5** — Terrible school. Don’t go here!: This school is an absolute disgrace. It’s less of an educational institution and more of a prison designed to crush the spirit of its students. The administration seems to believe that isolating students in prison-like cells for the smallest infractions is somehow conducive to learning. These isolation tactics are nothing short of traumatizing and reflect a complete disregard for students' mental health. The staff hands out detentions like candy, punishing children for the most trivial things in… *(Dec 2024)* - **1/5** — Worst s: This school is atrocious. The pupils are vile and present putrid behaviour towards other students. I’m in year 7 and have been told I’m going to get touched multiple time by many students, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and sad. I also hate bacon rolls. *(Oct 2023)* - **4/5** — Good education: The children is disobedient and the food is expensive other than that it's alright, I would recommend if you are looking for a good education for your children, home lunches are nice but not necessary. The canteen is available to everyone for a slightly high price *(Jun 2023)* - **3/5** — School review: Alright not that bad of a school but the uniform thing is weird *(May 2023)* - **1/5** — Worst college.: No pastoral care whatsoever. Extremely harsh environment, teachers provide detentions, stickers and isolation for the littlest of things like asking to go to the toilet during lessons. School preaches about individuality and yet you get detentions for wearing makeup jewellery, having haircuts or styling uniform to suit your own body. Facilities are terrible, toilets mouldy and out of action for most of the time. Not enough staff- Many different teachers teaching many different subjects that they… *(Nov 2022)* - **2/5** — Left with good grades but awful mental health: Came out with good grades but that's about it. School was a grades factory with little care regarding student wellbeing. I was bullied Horrifically the entire time I attended and very little was done about it. It is not an exaggeration that these were the worst years of my life and I'm now in trauma counseling as a result. The school cared more about arbitrary rules about uniform, the length of your skirt or the colour of your hair was a far bigger deal than the abuse you received from other stu… *(Nov 2022)* ## Other schools in Cambridge - [Cottenham Village College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/cottenham-village-college-12994) — 1.8/5 (32 reviews) - [Linton Village College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/linton-village-college-12163) — 1.7/5 (15 reviews) - [The Netherhall School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/the-netherhall-school-16701) — 2.2/5 (14 reviews) - [Bottisham Village College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/bottisham-village-college-12371) — 1.7/5 (11 reviews) - [Coleridge Community College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/coleridge-community-college-12345) — 2.3/5 (9 reviews) - [Trumpington Community College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/cambridge/trumpington-community-college-19146) — 1.4/5 (9 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
