Almost all of the teachers hate their students, hate their job or obsess over girls' uniform to the point where it really makes you question whether or not they are pedos. Their way of 'helping' students struggling with mental health is calling your parents without considering your situation or ever checking in on you again/addressing any issues. The education itself isn't the worst. Most teachers are boring but teach you… *(Mar 2025)* - **1/5** — bad-ok school: ok, so hear me out, theres this teacher whose name will remain anonymous. a girl told a boy to "go back to where you come from" boy says "go back to doing dishes" girl starts first but gets absoloutely nothing and boy gets ISR internal suspension room. teacher is biased as hell and does not care about how a boy (who is being bullied) calls us bad stuff but cares how we speak back. theres a lot of bad/negative language going around. if you think this is biased, this is a 3rd person point of view. *(Jan 2025)* - **2/5** — My school experiences: When telling the school about questions regarding mental health concerns, during my time at Tomlinscote, I hadn't received help for 4 months prior to needing this. As a previous student at this secondary school i felt like i was being ignored when it came to other concerns aswell regarding the teachers treatment of me during lesson and the other students poor treatment of me throughout my years. All i wanted to do was to do as best as i could in my school life so i can be much happier within my … *(Sep 2024)* - **1/5** — The School Failed Me: It was horrendous, they failed me then and they failed me greatly now as an adult later in life. They could have helped change everything for the better and they didn't. I am still suffering the after effects of what happened there and how they today claim to not have any information on my attending there as well with not a care in the world to help me. Only a couple of teachers really cared and the rest just wanted to cover their asses by looking the other way when I was being abused. They can … *(Apr 2024)* - **5/5** — Excellent School: I'm absolutely loving Tomlinscote School! The staff are fantastic and my child is really enjoying their lessons. The Gifted and Talented program is a great initiative and I'm confident they'll make the most of it. *(Sep 2023)* - **4/5** — Pretty good school: Pretty strict for a public school but handles bullying and other things very well. They even created an app for it. *(Jul 2023)* - **1/5** — Terrible: There is little to nothing good about Tomlinscote and they don’t care about mental health. They say oh we love to go on trips but the only trip I’ve been on is to a stupid zoo! I had a teacher who said anger issues and depression don’t exist and to get over them *(May 2023)* - **5/5** — Happy with Progress: I'm pleased with my child's progress so far at Tomlinscote. The pastoral support is great and they're really engaged with their subjects. The only thing that would make the school perfect is a bit more parental involvement in the school community. *(Mar 2023)* - **5/5** — Wonderful School: I'm so impressed with Tomlinscote School! My child has made great progress and the teachers are supportive. The iPad scheme is fantastic and has really helped with their learning. Highly recommend! *(Feb 2023)* - **1/5** — Just don’t come: This school claims to help you when bullied, sad, struggling with mental health etc. but when you actually tell them about it they do nothing and try to tell you it’s not happening. They also set way to much homework for 11-16 year old. They say each price of homework must last 30 minutes but I have had days where teachers have set five pieces of homework. In the summer of 2022 two pupils (one of which was my friend) had wrote to the head master on serious issues that had to be fixed. When they … *(Nov 2022)* ## Other schools in Camberley - [Kings International College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/camberley/kings-international-college-24086) — 3.4/5 (10 reviews) - [Ravenscote Junior School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/camberley/ravenscote-junior-school-16342) — 3.2/5 (5 reviews) - [Cordwalles Junior School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/camberley/cordwalles-junior-school-15326) — 1.0/5 (4 reviews) - [South Camberley Primary and Nursery School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/camberley/south-camberley-primary-and-nursery-school-19344) — 4.8/5 (3 reviews) - [St Augustine's Catholic Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/camberley/st-augustines-catholic-primary-school-17823) — 4.8/5 (3 reviews) - [Hawley Woods School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/camberley/hawley-woods-school-23635) — 4.8/5 (3 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
