Wyclif Independent Christian School

Wyclif Independent Christian School (WICS) is a day school located in the village of Machen, Caerphilly, South Wales, providing education with a Christian emphasis. Founded in 1982 with just seven pupils aged 4-11, it has grown to serve over 190 pupils aged 4-18. The school is founded on the belief that Christianity is relevant to every area of thought and life, with the Bible forming the foundation of its curriculum and moral teaching. WICS attracts students from Cardiff, Newport, and the South Wales valleys. The school is staffed by approximately 35 teachers, including 5 full-time members, and is governed by a board chaired by Mr Karl O'Dare. It operates as a co-educational private day school.
