- **1/5** — they do not care about mental health: I went here during 2018-2021 prior to dropping out to be homeschooled. At the time, i struggled with severe mental health issues. I needed to be placed on a reduced timetable, and at the time, a woman named Jackie said i could, but after a week she took me off it and said it wasnt good enough and I needed to come in and stop making excuses. She was deliberately stringing me on and never took me seriously. I was undergoing bullying too and the school never did anything. I tried to explain i cant … *(Sep 2025)*

While I appreciate the effort they put into enhancing my learning, there were a few areas that could be improved. The staff are kind and friendly, but they didn't quite understand my question about halal food. They told me it had marshmallows instead! Food-wise, I found it to be a bit pricey - £1 for a single cookie-like item seems steep when you can get a pack of 5-10 similar cookies at ASDA for £1-£1.20. Our son has thrived under the school's ethos of relentless ambition and has made fantastic progress. I had been moved to a higher set in maths mid year - I had no knowledge on the topic that this particular set were on, and after 3 years of asking for extra maths tutoring to catch up with my new peers, I was brushed off every time and this resulted in me failing my maths GCSE.
