I did witness bullying and very bad behaviour (of both boys and girls) at the school. Teaching up to GCSE was reasonable/good. The children of teachers ALWAYS did really well, due to the obvious advantage over other students. Teaching at Sixth Form was poor and disorganised. I was an Oxbridge candidate and got no support, help or guidance whatsoever. Most students leave after GCSE"s to go to local Sixth Form colleges - I wi… *(Jun 2025)* - **1/5** — Wont let me smoke my ganja: Teacher wont let me smoke my ganja and my mate got excluded for having some fent. *(Mar 2025)* - **5/5** — Excellent School. Every Opportunity to Fulfil Potential: Superb school and extremely caring and attentive staff who are actively involved to ensure positive mental health and that students fulfil their potential. The school has high standards and expectations for their students, and rightly so. The pastoral care is excellent and I've had nothing but 200% support for both my children who have very differing abilities. *(Nov 2023)* - **5/5** — Wonderful Nursery School: We have been at Reedley Hallows for 2 years now and it has been an amazing experience for our child. The facilities are great, the staff are friendly and approachable, and the values of the school are reflected in every aspect of the nursery. I couldn't recommend it more! *(Sep 2022)* - **5/5** — Excellent Care and Education: My child has been attending Reedley Hallows for a year now and I have been consistently impressed with the level of care and education he receives. The staff are attentive and responsive, and the curriculum is engaging and fun. I feel confident that my child is in good hands. *(May 2022)* - **5/5** — Outstanding Nursery School: We have been thoroughly impressed with Reedley Hallows from the moment we walked in the door. The staff are professional, the facilities are excellent, and the values of the school are reflected in every aspect of the nursery. Our child loves attending and we feel confident that he is getting the best possible start in life. *(Feb 2022)* - **1/5** — Revolting, evil, dangerous.: Everyone saying this school just had a 'little discipline' are widely misinformed and ignorant of the abuse the previous head teacher Elizabeth Lutzier inflicted upon HUNDREDS of students. Bullying was brushed under the carpet, children, literal CHILDREN were persecuted and singled out for grieving and needing support, not 'discipline'. There were multiple self harm and suicide episodes from struggling students at the school. Headteacher instructed every leaflet, booklet and resource on mental h… *(Jan 2022)* - **4/5** — Great Experience but Room for Improvement: We attended Reedley Hallows for 18 months and had a generally positive experience. The nursery is well-equipped and the staff are friendly, but we felt that the communication with parents could be better. Overall, I would recommend the nursery, but with some caveats. *(Dec 2021)* - **1/5** — Absolutely disappointed: Horrible I got eaten by a cow several times not to mention the evil rat haunting me *(Dec 2021)* - **4/5** — All Hallows is actually pretty good: I think that All Hallows Is a good place, it seems to be better managed than other schools. It has counselling and has done tests to see if students need extra help whilst preparing for GCSEs. This shows that the staff actually care somewhat about the well-being of their students. I think that the teachers are mostly good although there’s a few that honestly struggle to teach their students. Overall, I think that All Hallows has been a good place and I have gained a lot of knowledge from being t… *(Dec 2021)* ## Other schools in Burnley - [Unity College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/burnley/unity-college-11485) — 1.3/5 (22 reviews) - [Burnley High School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/burnley/burnley-high-school-15907) — 1.2/5 (21 reviews) - [Shuttleworth College](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/burnley/shuttleworth-college-11482) — 2.4/5 (10 reviews) - [Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic College, A Voluntary Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/burnley/blessed-trinity-roman-catholic-college-a-voluntary-academy-21138) — 2.5/5 (7 reviews) - [Rosewood Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/burnley/rosewood-primary-school-11110) — 4.8/5 (4 reviews) - [St John the Baptist RC Primary School, a Voluntary Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/burnley/st-john-the-baptist-rc-primary-school-a-voluntary-academy-21135) — 4.8/5 (4 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
