My daughter was attacked and locked in a room for an hour and a half. We were not informed of the attack until my daughter contacted us from where she was being held. We had to get her ourselves, despite the achool refusing to let us take her home. My daughter was ignored and the attackers were not punished. She is SEN, SLT had no idea who my daughter was despite her being SEN and vulnerable. No support after the attack was given and the sch… *(Sep 2025)* - **1/5** — Awful school: This school is a utter joke, the staff never take any action for when a student is being harassed or bullied and never care about the wellbeing of students, only care about grades, not even allowed to go home if thrown up multiple times, worst school ever. *(Mar 2025)* - **2/5** — Encouraging bullying: Children bullied on a daily basis over several classes, head of year well aware after student had to receive counselling for self harm and depression. The bullies still remain at the school and still emotionally abuse the said student on a daily basis with no end in sight. Looking at home schooling because I actually care about my child's well being. *(Jul 2024)* - **5/5** — Great school: I really enjoyed attending the vale academy as a student, the teachers always encouraged me to do my best and i will always appreciate that as I achieved beyond my expected grades in year 11! The teachers are supportive and there is always someone to talk to about any matter! *(Jun 2024)* - **5/5** — Parents opinion: My son moved to vale half way through year 7 as he was really struggling with being at a large school and being just another number and not seen as a pupil. He has had the chance to be in a football team and dodgeball team which he never got to do at his previous school and the team even won the Lincolnshire schools cup. He always says good things about the teachers and how engaging the lessons are. He actually enjoys going to school which is very unusual for a child! For any parents who are thi… *(Jun 2024)* - **5/5** — Moving schools: I moved to vale academy from a school I didn’t like and the teachers helped me settle in really well the students were very kind and supportive aswell as I made friends quickly I love the subjects especially technology and pe the canteen has very good food for break time and lunch time *(Jun 2024)* - **5/5** — A Student's Personal Experience (2018-2024): Ever since year 7 this school has helped me in so many ways. Whenever there was a problem they would always do their best to do whatever they could to fix it. An example of this is when i was bullied and they instantly clamped down on it. When COVID hit in year 8 they were very effective in still providing us an education with the staff providing work every day and marking the work once it had been sent in through email. When it came to my GCSES they provided us all with revision sessions every … *(Jun 2024)* - **5/5** — Great school!: Our daughter moved to The Vale Academy sixth form after she finished Y11 elsewhere and we were really happy with the experience she's had. The facilities were modern and the sixth form area was very comfortable. The teachers' support was exceptional and they often gave up their own time to help her get the grades she needed for her uni course. *(Jun 2024)* - **5/5** — Enrichment: The academy encourages all students to be involved in extra curricular activities. Students regularly visit the Delta outdoor education centre called Dallowgill near Ripon. Students enjoy experiencing the outdoors and really enjoy evenings around the fire pit. *(Jun 2024)* - **5/5** — My Daughter's journey at the Vale Academy: Liam Flanagan I am absolutely thrilled to share my daughter's remarkable journey at The Vale Academy in Brigg.
