If the school decide to paint a target on your child's back, there is no end to which they will bully, intimidate, Harass and abuse. My daughter, who thankfully is leaving this year has been called useless, has been told she will amount to nothing, has been suspended and reinstated in the same day, been pulled out of lessons for no reason and the last 3 years of her life have been destroyed. Despite complaining t… *(May 2024)* - **1/5** — Absolutely terrible: Do not send your children here. This school does NOT prioritise students well-being or mental health. Their only focus is attendance. I have multiple family members who have attended here and myself and we have all had horrible experiences. They use past traumas against students and punish them for things they cannot control. This is not a good school and it can and will potentially traumatise your children. *(Feb 2024)* - **5/5** — Excellent Support from Teachers: As a parent, I've been really impressed with the support my child has received from the teachers at Bridgwater College Academy. The sports facilities are amazing and my child has thrived in the sports development centre. They're really preparing them for a bright future! *(Jun 2022)* - **2/5** — Not a nice place to work: Not a nice place to work. Children are just numbers to the Leadership Team. Very poor treatment of staff and absolutely no professional judgements are listened to. If there is a problem, it is, and always will be, the teachers fault. The only good things about BCA are the children and the staff below leadership level. *(May 2022)* - **5/5** — Exceptional Education: I'm blown away by the education my child is receiving at Bridgwater College Academy. The high levels of challenge and support have really helped them excel academically and personally. I couldn't be prouder! *(Jan 2022)* - **5/5** — Love the Curriculum Approach!: I'm so happy with the way Bridgwater College Academy approaches learning. The emphasis on reading and cultural opportunity is fantastic and my child is already showing a love for reading that I've never seen before! *(Sep 2021)* - **4/5** — Good Experience, Some Room for Improvement: Overall, I was satisfied with Bridgwater College Academy when my child was a student. However, I did feel that the communication with parents could be better at times. The leisure facilities were great though! *(Feb 2020)* ## Other schools in Bridgwater - [Haygrove School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bridgwater/haygrove-school-12558) — 2.3/5 (20 reviews) - [Chilton Trinity School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bridgwater/chilton-trinity-school-19679) — 2.6/5 (14 reviews) - [Robert Blake School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bridgwater/robert-blake-school-9621) — 2.0/5 (12 reviews) - [Somerset Bridge Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bridgwater/somerset-bridge-primary-school-9557) — 4.6/5 (5 reviews) - [Ashcott Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bridgwater/ashcott-primary-school-9552) — 4.8/5 (4 reviews) - [Pawlett Primary School Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bridgwater/pawlett-primary-school-academy-20702) — 4.8/5 (4 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
