## About

St Mary’s is a thriving school which opened on its current site in 1963. We take our name from the majestic St Mary Magdalene church, built by Thomas Telford, which stands proudly overlooking the beautiful riverside town of Bridgnorth. Our links with the church began in our origins when the school was run by the clergy, and we remain today a voluntary aided Church of England school.

- **4/5** — Some good things, but room for improvement: We're generally happy with St Mary's Bluecoat, but there are a few areas where we think the school could improve. The facilities are great, but sometimes the playground can get a bit chaotic. We've also found the communication from the school to be a bit patchy at times. Still, the teachers are kind and the children are happy, so we'll keep an eye on things. *(Jul 2022)*
