As said in another review on school-parrot that the students are ‘feral’ is extremely true Students take horrible pictures of people and post it for the idea of ‘fun’ which is just humiliation not only that but they… *(Apr 2023)* - **1/5** — Student as of now: This school is terrible. The priorities are in all the wrong places - they care more about shoes than bullying - The education is mediocre because most of the time the teachers are just shouting and repeat themselves over and over again because of this! The school also has horrible first aid , you can go but nothing will be done Please do not send a child here they will hate it as much as the rest of us here do *(Mar 2023)* - **5/5** — Love the School!: My child loves King's Hawthornes and I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful school. The teachers are caring and the facilities are excellent. The annual Believe Festival is a highlight of the year and it's wonderful to see the kids showcasing their talents. *(Feb 2023)* - **1/5** — Don't send your kids here.: This is a shockingly terrible school. The head teacher is only available for photo opportunities, for anything serious he passes it off as quickly as possible. The Deputy head speaks down to everyone and will over talk you when you try to bring up any problems. They turn a blind eye to bullying. They don't safe guard the students. The students smoke weed and vapes on the premises and the teachers pretend it's not happening. The kids at this school can only be described as ferral. *(Oct 2022)* - **5/5** — Excellent Leadership Academy!: I was a bit nervous about sending my child to a new school, but King's Leadership Academy Hawthornes has exceeded all my expectations. The teachers are supportive and the facilities are top-notch. My child is thriving and loves the enrichment programs they offer. *(Sep 2022)* - **4/5** — Positive Experience So Far: My child is enjoying their time at King's Hawthornes and I'm pleased with the progress they're making. The teachers are knowledgeable and the school's focus on creativity is great. My only suggestion would be to improve communication with parents - sometimes it feels like we're not in the loop. *(Mar 2022)* - **2/5** — former student: The school is good like the environment but the teachers are not that good as you report something and they do nothing about it it needs to be improved and you learn nothing so I do not recommend this school *(Aug 2021)* ## Other schools in Bootle - [Hillside High School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bootle/hillside-high-school-16423) — 2.2/5 (10 reviews) - [Linacre Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bootle/linacre-primary-school-2269) — 1.9/5 (6 reviews) - [The Salesian Academy of St John Bosco](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bootle/the-salesian-academy-of-st-john-bosco-22605) — 4.5/5 (4 reviews) - [Springwell Park Community Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bootle/springwell-park-community-primary-school-11310) — 3.1/5 (4 reviews) - [St Benedict's Catholic Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bootle/st-benedicts-catholic-primary-school-11526) — 4.8/5 (3 reviews) - [Our Lady of Walsingham Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/bootle/our-lady-of-walsingham-primary-school-23883) — 4.7/5 (3 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
