This school offers nothing to support your child and has declined in the last 3 years, 3 different head teachers. Most teachers do there best to educate your child. *(Sep 2025)* - **3/5** — Nice building, People are off.: The school building is nice, and there is much more support access for students. Bullying behaviour is average but is being worked on to be fixed. Teachers on a whole are decent, although sometimes they can be biased. I enjoy being at this school, though it must be improved. *(Jul 2025)* - **1/5** — Absolutely crap: Highfield has a good reputation but it’s like a book u can see the cover and like it but when when you read it it’s totally different. The teachers are very strict and are racist sometimes . *(Sep 2024)* - **5/5** — No complaints at all!!: Both my boys went through Highfield and yes it had it's issues as all schools do but some hide the issues better than others. We always found the teaching staff to be very responsive and the leadership team took on any feedback. In fairness you only get out of a school what you put into it. My two were both head boys and both took very active roles in the school all throughout the time they were there. *(May 2024)* - **1/5** — The problems with this school: Ofsted and blackpool council need to talk to the students in year 10 we are wanting to speak to you but our teachers dont let us this school is the worst and there isnt a worse school the teachers are crap my name is amy edwards im in year 10 you need to speak to me in person *(Oct 2023)* - **4/5** — Some great aspects, but still room for improvement: I'm generally pleased with the school, but I think there could be more support for children with special needs. The staff are friendly and the facilities are modern, but sometimes I feel like communication between home and school could be better. *(Oct 2023)* - **1/5** — Highfield leadership academy student year 10: Im a student at this school in year 10 and im happy to talk to anyone about the school its rubbish i could use stronger words but i wont on here its the worst school ive heard of blaming everything on year 10 girls when not everything is our fault teachers and other kids do make mistakes an things too there is about 3 or 4 good teachers they are amazimg the rest are horrible i hope they get rid of the school my name is amy edwards im in year 10 happy to talk about this to amyone if wanted *(Oct 2023)* - **1/5** — Student At Highfield Leadership Academy: I am a student at highfield school. This school is a massive shit hole students hate the place and it is not a good place for kids these days teachers are shit and if anything this school shpuld be knocked down even my mum hates this school blackpool council and ofsted should actually have conversations with the students bring them out the classroom and speak to them mostly year 10 *(Sep 2023)* - **5/5** — Outstanding school and caring staff!: My child is absolutely thriving at Highfield Leadership Academy. The staff are so supportive and caring, and the facilities are always clean and well-maintained. I love the values they're teaching our children, especially RESPECT and TEAMWORK. *(Feb 2023)* - **5/5** — Excellent education and leadership program: My child attended Highfield Leadership Academy from Year 7 to Year 11 and achieved fantastic grades. The performance leadership program helped them develop a strong sense of confidence and responsibility. I'm very grateful for the excellent education they received. *(Aug 2022)* ## Other schools in Blackpool - [St George's School A Church of England Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/blackpool/st-georges-school-a-church-of-england-academy-15679) — 1.6/5 (20 reviews) - [St Mary's Catholic Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/blackpool/st-marys-catholic-academy-16083) — 1.9/5 (14 reviews) - [Blackpool Aspire Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/blackpool/blackpool-aspire-academy-15986) — 2.4/5 (13 reviews) - [Unity Academy Blackpool](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/blackpool/unity-academy-blackpool-14781) — 2.0/5 (13 reviews) - [Montgomery Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/blackpool/montgomery-academy-13409) — 3.5/5 (11 reviews) - [Armfield Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/blackpool/armfield-academy-19839) — 1.9/5 (10 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
