## Recent parent reviews

- **4/5** — Some Positives, Some Negatives: My child is in their second year at King Edward VI Balaam Wood Academy and I have mixed feelings about the school. On the one hand, the teaching staff are generally excellent and the facilities are great. However, I have experienced some difficulties with communication from the school and feel that the workload can be quite heavy at times. Overall, I would say that it is a good school, but there is some room for improvement. *(Sep 2022)*
- **5/5** — Excellent School with Great Staff: I have been extremely impressed with the facilities and staff at King Edward VI Balaam Wood Academy. My child has thrived in the supportive environment and has been encouraged to try new things. The House system is also a great way to promote teamwork and camaraderie. I highly recommend this school to anyone in the area. *(Jun 2022)*
- **5/5** — Outstanding Education and Values: I have two children who attended Balaam Wood and I can honestly say that it was an excellent experience for both of them. The school's commitment to academic excellence, as well as its strong values and sense of community, really shone through. My children thrived in the supportive environment and have gone on to successful careers. I have no hesitation in recommending this school to anyone. *(Dec 2021)*
