When somebody is bullied the teachers don’t even speak up I got bullied every single year I was in that school I’m so glad I no longer go If you suffer from mental health issues please don’t go here I can’t explain how horrible it is and the teachers don’t care at all the school is such a mess they only give the loud noisy popular kids attention … *(Sep 2025)* - **1/5** — Bad school: Very Bad school very unfortunat my child goes this school *(Jul 2025)* - **1/5** — horrible school!!: The school is terrible. They don’t care about mental health or bullying. They only care about uniform. The toilets have been locked and they claim it’s to keep them more hygienic but it’s taking away our child’s rights. The staff is horrible, all they do is yell and act horrible towards the students. Some staff are nice but most of them are absolutely awful. The head teacher doesn’t care about the students and only cares about uniform and jewellery aswell. Do not send your child here!! *(Jul 2025)* - **4/5** — Archbishop Ilsley: My son went to Archbishop Ilsley in 2013, the school staff were amazing, listened to all my concerns and supported him all through his school years, the head teacher was amazing and Mr Jones who has since left. My son has just graduated this year. Thankyou Archbishop. *(Jun 2024)* - **1/5** — Please save your child: If I could give a less than bad rate I would but I can’t lol. I have experienced racism, bullying so many times, and felt segregated for the years that I have spent at this school. Some teachers actually care I cannot lie, But some of them are so arrogant and rude and make you feel so low about yourself. I’m soon to be an ex student and my parents themselves wish they never sent me to this school until this day themselves. They act like it’s a privilege to be a member of the school and in their … *(Dec 2023)* - **1/5** — Not a good school: It is not a good school at all because staff do not care about students mental health, education and they dont care weather kids are getting bullied. Also they do not care about racism, discrimination or homophobia, they choose to ignore it or deal with it very poorly. Some of the teachers are even racist and homophobic themselves, i would advise you not to send your kids here. It is also not a very safe school as some of the teachers bully some of the students. For example one of their teachers… *(Aug 2023)* - **1/5** — review: Do not send your kids here they do absolutely nothing for a child's mental health they do absolutely nothing towards bullying either. It is a joke of a school. All they care about is there pay day As a school it should make the pupils feel safe where as i was not safe it that school and neither are other students they really need to look at what there doing *(Aug 2023)* - **1/5** — really bad: dont go here pls its reaaly bad they are really racist people *(Jan 2023)* - **1/5** — My friend keeps getting bullied: My friend gets bullied here and he has told his teachers and they ain’t done nothing about it . The teachers are all idiotic and so are the people bullying my friend . They have been called by his parents and they still don’t do anything . This is horrendous . If they don’t do something I will personally go to the school. *(Jan 2023)* - **4/5** — Some Positive but Room for Improvement: We've had a mixed experience at Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School so far. On the positive side, the Sixth Form team has been supportive and the Global Links Enrichment Programme sounds great. However, we've experienced some communication issues with the school and the facilities could be improved. *(Nov 2022)* ## Other schools in Birmingham - [Ninestiles, an Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/birmingham/ninestiles-an-academy-12144) — 3.5/5 (37 reviews) - [Small Heath Leadership Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/birmingham/small-heath-leadership-academy-18690) — 1.5/5 (32 reviews) - [Eden Girls' Leadership Academy, Birmingham](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/birmingham/eden-girls-leadership-academy-birmingham-20844) — 1.3/5 (25 reviews) - [Ark Victoria Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/birmingham/ark-victoria-academy-16470) — 1.7/5 (24 reviews) - [Cockshut Hill School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/birmingham/cockshut-hill-school-17012) — 1.6/5 (20 reviews) - [Lindsworth School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/birmingham/lindsworth-school-1846) — 3.4/5 (17 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
