He's had a few challenges this year, but the teachers have been wonderful in helping him to overcome them. The school's focus on diversity and inclusion is really evident, and I feel grateful to be a part of this community. *(May 2023)* - **1/5** — What would happen if an American high school went British: My friend goes to this school and gets shamed for being smart. This school is like what happens when you take a typical American Movie senior school and take away the guns and sex. It is a horrible school and another one of my friends brother got concussed by three Yr nine girls. No, it’s not the older boys beating up girls, it’s everyone being mean to everyone. I have moved since then, and now I think that this is why my parents moved schools: because they didn’t want me in this hellhole of a s… *(May 2023)* - **1/5** — billericay school is crap: this school is awful the rules are so strict, the teachers are horrible, the food is so expensive and still have to go in when its snowing and the floors all icy and slippery *(Apr 2023)* - **5/5** — Fantastic school, great facilities and staff: My daughter has been thriving at The Billericay School since starting last year. The facilities are excellent, the teachers are passionate and dedicated, and the values of Caring About Success really shine through. I'm so grateful for the opportunities she's had, from the Adventure Programme to the extracurricular clubs. *(Feb 2023)* - **4/5** — Excellent education, but some room for improvement: My son graduated from The Billericay School a few years ago and had a great experience. The education was excellent, and he was well-prepared for university. However, I did feel that the school could do more to engage with parents and involve them in the decision-making process. Overall, though, I Would definitely recommend the school. *(Nov 2022)* - **1/5** — Student: Bullying is not taken seriously and teachers are rude to parents and students. *(Apr 2022)* - **1/5** — i hate it here: would rate 0 stars. i’m having to move schools next term because of the lack of diversity. they don’t treat lgbtqiapdn+ student the same at straight/cis students. it’s unacceptable. because of the way i get treated i hate it here. i get called homophobic and transphobic slurs on a DAILY BASIS. it deteriorates my mental health. *(Apr 2021)* - **1/5** — Review: Teachers are rude and are obnoxious They don’t care about your mental health all they want is good grades Because of covid we have to wear masks but no social distancing at all I would rate it 0 stars if possible *(Sep 2020)* ## Other schools in Billericay - [St Peter's Catholic Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/billericay/st-peters-catholic-primary-school-20910) — 2.2/5 (10 reviews) - [Mayflower High School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/billericay/mayflower-high-school-12670) — 2.5/5 (4 reviews) - [Ramsden Hall Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/billericay/ramsden-hall-academy-17178) — 4.8/5 (3 reviews) - [Brightside Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/billericay/brightside-primary-school-10962) — 4.8/5 (3 reviews) - [Crays Hill Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/billericay/crays-hill-primary-school-19766) — 4.4/5 (3 reviews) - [South Green Junior School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/billericay/south-green-junior-school-5903) — 3.0/5 (1 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
