About William Gilbert Endowed Church of England Primary School

William Gilbert School is a very special place to learn, grow and achieve. We want our children to become creative, independent, and confident young people able to forge their own future and have a positive influence on the wider world. We are a thriving community of over 240 children, aged between 4 and 11, plus a 26 place Nursery.

"A Wonderful School Experience"

My child has been attending William Gilbert School for 3 years now and it's been an absolute delight. The teachers are dedicated, the facilities are modern and clean, and the values of the school align perfectly with our family's beliefs. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful community.

"Mixed Feelings"

My child has been at William Gilbert School for a year now and while we have had some very positive experiences, we've also had a few issues with communication between teachers and parents. The school's focus on community service is wonderful, but I feel that they could do more to engage with parents on specific issues.

"Excellent Education"

Both my children attended William Gilbert School and we were thoroughly impressed with the education they received. The school's focus on Christian values and community service was particularly inspiring to see. The teachers were always supportive and the facilities were excellent.
