Pretty much any boy who isn’t and who is in most need of care, support and great teaching is sidelined in year 7. Once you’re pigeonholed as average they don’t really care. Some good teachers but they’re stuck in an archaic system that can’t bring out the best and the talents in everyone. If you don’t make the grade, it’s YOUR fault, never theirs. The toilets were clean, the food was good, the buildings were well-appointed; but as I proceeded in my collegiate years, I began to feel painfully alive to the nepotism with which the school had become entrenched.
