Teachers are rude and condescending and at the same time demand respect. Must be because how insecure they are about having to go into teaching because of their failed careers in their field. Arijit chakravarty is a prime example *(Jun 2024)* - **5/5** — Exceptional Education and Enrichment: QE has surpassed our expectations in every way - the academic standards are incredibly high, the teachers are passionate and knowledgeable, and the enrichment opportunities are endless. Our son has thrived in the school's friendly and supportive environment and we're confident he's being prepared for a bright future. *(Feb 2023)* - **4/5** — Generally positive experience, but some issues: We were pleased with QE's academic reputation and the school's commitment to its values, but we had some concerns about the level of pastoral care for our son. The facilities are excellent, but we felt that the school could do more to engage with parents and keep us informed about our child's progress. *(Jan 2023)* - **5/5** — Our son is Flourishing at QE!: We moved to Barnet specifically for QE and it has been the best decision for our family. The school's values of confidence, ability and responsibility truly shine through in the way the teachers support and challenge the boys. The new facilities are fantastic and our son is thriving in the school, making many friends and excelling academically. *(Sep 2022)* - **1/5** — UNPROFESSIONAL ATTENTION SEEKING PATHETIC SECURITY WOMAN: There is a security woman...always shouting at people. Horrible woman to be around...Appears to be premature, and acting out for attention. Shame they couldn't find a more professional than this woman...horrible... and she seems to be bored and ses really unprofessional. *(Jul 2022)* - **5/5** — amazing: amazing very good fantastic school *(May 2022)* - **1/5** — DO NOT COME: The teachers are way too strict and proud of the school. It is not good and highly unrecommended. *(May 2022)* - **4/5** — Decent: I coped well personally but a lot of people would find it challenging due to the amount of work. Most teachers aren’t that great, students mainly do the work to achieve their grades. Also clear bias shown by teachers to certain students. Grades are everything is this school- for some students, that’s literally all they care about. A lot of tests, many of them quite difficult (you do well in those then GCSEs won’t be a problem). Interior design of school is pretty average, playgrounds are good (c… *(Feb 2021)* - **4/5** — Qe Boys Student Review: It’s a good school but puts way too much pressure on people, e.g. the tests in maths are harder than the gcse tests🤦🏻‍♂️. Also they don’t actually care about you, they only care about their reputation. But it does give good results so🤷🏻‍♂️. Also they don’t do football which is stupid. *(Sep 2020)* ## Other schools in Barnet - [Queen Elizabeth's Girls' School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/barnet/queen-elizabeths-girls-school-12743) — 1.6/5 (25 reviews) - [Southgate School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/barnet/southgate-school-17269) — 1.1/5 (5 reviews) - [Ark Pioneer Academy](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/barnet/ark-pioneer-academy-20724) — 4.8/5 (4 reviews) - [The Windmill School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/barnet/the-windmill-school-18109) — 4.5/5 (4 reviews) - [Watling Park School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/barnet/watling-park-school-16763) — 4.8/5 (3 reviews) - [Susi Earnshaw Theatre School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/barnet/susi-earnshaw-theatre-school-10870) — 4.6/5 (3 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
