Miss Durose and Miss Lloyd seem to keep getting promotions and new jobs and care little about the real safety of children. Didn't ever accept responsibility even though police and teachers all stated it was handled awfully. Shame on them!!! Think twice about sending kids here and if they dont want to go, question why! Disgraceful, and all brushed under the … *(Oct 2025)* - **1/5** — Don't come here: Absolute crap hole Went there from years 7 to 9 and it went downhill fast food that tasted like puke students that had no respect no proper behavior policies a kid literally tossed fiberglass into another kids face and didn't get expelled almost killed myself twice was severely depressed and left mentally scarred In conclusion DON'T COME HERE *(Jul 2025)* - **1/5** — Run don’t walk away from this he’ll hole: Absolutely awful school with a disgusting liar of a headteacher. If your child has any SEN issues this school will fail them. Teacher who are incompetent to deal with trauma or mental health issues. Steer well clear of this school especially with the new headteacher. She is a nasty piece of work not only with the pupils but families and other teachers. *(Jan 2025)* - **1/5** — Avoid this school if your child has special needs: We had high hopes for this school when our first child started there with special needs as they had a large SEN department. Now we know different. We have had no end of issues with the school not adhearing to the SEN agreements for our child (mainly due to so many staff coming and going) and now he refuses to go to school and we have had to seek independant councelling for him. My daughter has just started there and she has dyslexia and ADHD and now she is refusing school and we have found out t… *(Oct 2024)* - **5/5** — Best school: This is the best school that i have know because of its tutors and the system *(Sep 2024)* - **5/5** — Amazing school: During year 7, i was really unsure. I’ve got the hang of it now. The Boys are so supportive and kind, you can really be yourself around them. The school allows us to express ourselves freely, and are really supportive for students struggling with mental health, family issues etc. I know everyone has their own personal opinions, but i think AHS has been one of the best decision i’ve ever made. They let students from all different backgrounds express themselves through pride parades and cultured d… *(May 2024)* - **1/5** — Decline in school: I find the school has declined significantly recently, the health and safety of children are compromised, it seems you can threaten and carry sharps and still be ok to attend the school. The safety of the children is a huge worry for parents and some heads of year seem unable to deal with this, and the heads of the school seem non existent Skiving a lesson is same punishment as bullying it appears and I feel this school has massive safety concerns. Very concerning sad times. If I could choose ag… *(May 2024)* - **5/5** — Nice And Good school: I like the school because of its amazing staff and tutors who are very kind. *(May 2024)* - **5/5** — Cool school: Very nice school because if you get more achievement points you can spend you points on cool stuff. *(May 2024)* ## Other schools in Aylesbury - [Aylesbury High School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/aylesbury/aylesbury-high-school-12492) — 3.6/5 (13 reviews) - [Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/aylesbury/sir-henry-floyd-grammar-school-12491) — 3.3/5 (10 reviews) - [St Joseph's Catholic Infant School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/aylesbury/st-josephs-catholic-infant-school-21973) — 4.8/5 (4 reviews) - [Great Kimble Church of England School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/aylesbury/great-kimble-church-of-england-school-19376) — 4.8/5 (4 reviews) - [The Kingsbrook School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/aylesbury/the-kingsbrook-school-22320) — 4.7/5 (4 reviews) - [St Mary's Church of England School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/aylesbury/st-marys-church-of-england-school-21343) — 4.6/5 (4 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
