About The Amicus School

The Amicus School provides a therapeutic learning model for children who have been impacted by trauma. The school aims to help children understand the impact of their pasts and corresponding behaviours and feelings. Enabling them to manage healthier relationships, through which they can achieve the trust and self-esteem essential for their eventual transitions.

"A Home Away from Home for Our Child"

We cannot thank the staff at The Amicus School and Community enough for providing a safe and nurturing environment for our child. The therapeutic approach and values-based care have been instrumental in helping our child heal and thrive. We feel confident that our child is in the right place.

"Mixed Feelings about Our Experience"

We have mixed feelings about our experience with The Amicus School and Community. While the staff were kind and dedicated, we felt that our child's needs were not always met. The facilities and programs were good, but we struggled to see the progress we had hoped for. We're not sure if it was the right fit for our child.

"A Second Family for Our Son"

We had the privilege of sending our son to The Amicus School and Community for several years, and we cannot speak highly enough of the experience. The staff became a second family to him, providing love, support, and care that helped him overcome his challenges. His progress was nothing short of remarkable.
