About Alderwood School

Alderwood School is a 4-16 all through school for pupils in the Aldershot area. It is based over 3 separate sites, known as Alderwood Infant, Junior and Senior schools. We encourage each pupil to 'be the best they can be' so that they can go on to achieve more than they ever thought possible.

"A fantastic school with a real sense of community!"

We've been at Alderwood for a few years now, and I can honestly say it's the best school our child has ever attended. The staff are dedicated, enthusiastic, and truly care about the children. The school's values of kindness, honesty, and respect are instilled in our child and their friends, and it's lovely to see them grow and develop into responsible and considerate young people.

"Alderwood School exceeded our expectations!"

We moved to the area recently and were a bit apprehensive about Alderwood School. However, our child settled in quickly and loves the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The school's values of kindness, honesty, and respect are truly evident in the way the staff and students interact with each other. We're so impressed with the facilities, especially the libraries on each site, which have an incredible selection of books.

"Mixed feelings about Alderwood"

We left Alderwood after a few years, and while we have many fond memories, we also had some challenges. The school's values and ethos are excellent, and the staff are generally very supportive. However, we found some inconsistency in the teaching quality and the facilities were starting to show their age. Overall, a good school with a lot of potential, but could do with some improvements.
