A lot of bullying goes on a, some would say like any other school. NO I mean a lot of bullying, unprovoked attacks on vulnerable children with additional needs, you see the school puts more rules on the boys than the girls. Boys couldn’t wear a stud earring but girls can, girls can also go to school looking like they just put the face in the makeup bag massive eye lashes and fake nails. But yet you will re… *(Jun 2025)* - **1/5** — Avoid this school: The school is getting worse and worse since a year. The rules are completly ridiculous. The child gets a detention at 14h45 to attend at 15h00 the same day , he is not aware of the detention, so obviously can not attend as not being aware, then he gets a further sanction. The teachers are so subborrn, never admitting their own mistakes, they are always right, here are the values of Chertsey High. Children are far from being equally treated, you are on the right side you are fine (giving donation… *(Mar 2024)* - **1/5** — No privacy and feel uncomfortable: Very bad school teacher stand in-front of the toilet no privacy at all feels like jail I left the school and so happy I did *(Mar 2023)* - **1/5** — Chertsey high make me feel uncomfortable: Teacher ask where your going before entering the building the building is closed off unless you’re using the toilet or going to the cafeteria the cafeteria so small teacher stand next to the toilets you’re always questioned in that school is ridiculous no privacy and not much freedom when it’s break time and lunchtime only recommend the school if you like a really strict school but sometimes the strict can be too much I feel like I’m in a private school where the standards are too high *(Nov 2022)* - **1/5** — Chertsey high school: Feel attacked by teacher rules to strict they definitely prove they have more power over students the way they speak.the uniform has to be perfect it should be a private school they care about you looks too much you have to say where you going before you enter the school building teachers are like security guards it ridiculous !!!! *(Nov 2022)* - **1/5** — Still a long way off a good school: Unfortunately the school favours heavily those children who’s parents donate to the school. They definitely have their favourites and do not have a fair process for all children across the board. The communication is bad, the teachers are in and out of that school like a revolving door which means no consistency with learning. Also no grasp whatsoever on how to tackle racism. Some teachers are great and it’s a shame they are let down by others who focus entirely on the same children and ignore t… *(Sep 2022)* - **5/5** — An excellent all-round school!: I'm impressed with the facilities, the teachers, and the values that Chertsey High School instills in its students. My child has thrived here, and I feel confident that they'll do well in their future endeavors. *(Sep 2022)* - **4/5** — Chertsey High School - from a student: Very strict, but a nice balance of firm and fair. Amazing teachers. Some reasons for detentions aren't exactly justified, however if you do as you're told you should be just fine. Some teachers are very lenient. *(Aug 2022)* - **2/5** — Strict school with horrible and lovely students: The school is very strict. They'll give you a detention for not having a reading book, a detention on the first week for not knowing your way/being late to a class on the first week. There are some lovely student but there are some horrible ones aswell. My daughter went to primary with a kid who is at Chertsey High, this kid pushed the door on my daughters face and when she started crying, as it hurt, he said "Go cry to you dad, OH WAIT YOU DONT HAVE ONE". So I think the school needs to educate … *(Aug 2022)* - **5/5** — Supportive environment and excellent teachers: My child has only just started at Chertsey High School, but I'm already impressed with the supportive environment and the excellent teachers. They seem to genuinely care about the students' well-being and progress. *(Jan 2022)* ## Other schools in Addlestone - [Jubilee High School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/addlestone/jubilee-high-school-14992) — 2.3/5 (18 reviews) - [Fullbrook School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/addlestone/fullbrook-school-12629) — 1.9/5 (6 reviews) - [St Paul's CofE Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/addlestone/st-pauls-cofe-primary-school-15055) — 4.1/5 (5 reviews) - [Philip Southcote School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/addlestone/philip-southcote-school-23145) — 2.1/5 (5 reviews) - [Ongar Place Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/addlestone/ongar-place-primary-school-9878) — 4.2/5 (4 reviews) - [Holy Family Catholic Primary School](https://schoolbrowse.com/gb/addlestone/holy-family-catholic-primary-school-17817) — 4.8/5 (3 reviews) --- Source: SchoolBrowse (https://schoolbrowse.com) — reviews and ratings are user-submitted by parents.
